Build responsibly — our guidelines for fair use of the Ballpark API
We encourage developers to build applications and integrations that extend Ballpark’s capabilities and unlock new possibilities beyond our core services. To ensure fairness, security, and clarity, we have outlined the following guidelines.
Prohibited Applications
The following categories of applications are not permitted:
Applications that are illegal or promote copyright infringement.
Applications that mislead or deceive users.
Applications that rely on private APIs, scrape data, or attempt to copy Ballpark’s platform.
Applications that attempt to harm, compete with, or replace Ballpark.
Rate Limiting
During the beta phase, the API is subject to initial rate limits. These limits are designed to accommodate the majority of applications.
We reserve the right to block or throttle any service that exceeds these limits, abuses the API, or attempts to circumvent restrictions.
If you anticipate significant traffic or high-volume usage, please contact us in advance. We are happy to discuss solutions that support your requirements.
Liability
Ballpark accepts no liability for any damages or losses arising from the use of the API. Developers assume full responsibility for their applications and integrations.
Changes to Terms
Ballpark reserves the right to update or amend these guidelines at any time, without prior notice, during the beta period. Developers should review this page periodically to remain informed of any changes.
