Workspace owners and admins can now set a maximum cumulative credit spend per study in Ballpark.
This new spend control helps teams put a clear cap on recruitment spend for each study in a workspace. Once enabled, any order that would cause a study to reach or exceed the limit is blocked before it can be placed.
To set it up, go to Settings > Spend controls. Turn the control on, enter a whole-number credit limit, and click Set limit. The limit then applies to every study in the workspace. If you turn the control off, the limit is removed immediately.
Owners and admins can also choose to exempt themselves from the limit. When this setting is on, they can continue placing orders even after a study has reached its cap.
This setting is off by default and available on all plans.
