Quality-control onboarding for studies

We've just launched Pre-study quality checks to improve the quality of participant responses in your research studies.

We've rebuilt our study onboarding with a guided flow that happens before participants reach the welcome step. This process is available in all 19 languages supported in Ballpark.

Participants go through a step-by-step process that includes:

• A webcam check where they confirm their face is visible

• A microphone check that requires detected sound to continue

• A screen sharing check that confirms they're sharing the right screen

Participants who can't meet these requirements won't join the session.

This new approach makes sure participants are prepared and committed before sessions begin. The result is fewer interruptions during research and better quality data for your studies.
