You can now give more people access to Ballpark while keeping response data downloads limited to admins and workspace owners.
This setting is built for teams with stricter governance or data retention requirements. If you want standard users to review studies and responses without being able to export CSVs, download recordings, or save transcripts, you can now enforce that at the workspace level.
When enabled, admins and workspace owners keep full download access as usual. Standard users will still see download actions in the product, but the buttons are disabled and show a tooltip explaining that downloads on their workspace have been restricted to admin users.
The restriction takes effect immediately after you save it. It applies to study-level CSV exports, card sort summary CSV exports, video, audio, and screen recording downloads, and transcript downloads.
To turn it on, go to Settings > Governance > Data exports and enable “Restrict downloads to admin users only.”
This setting is off by default and available on all plans.
