Create studies, recruit participants and analyse your Ballpark research without leaving ChatGPT

Overview

Bring customer research into the conversation with Ballpark’s ChatGPT integration. Create studies, find participants and turn real feedback into answers, all from the place you already work.

Whether you’re testing an idea, improving onboarding or exploring what customers think about your pricing, start by describing what you want to learn. Ballpark connects ChatGPT to your research workspace so you can move from a question to a study, then dig into the responses as they come in.

Here are some of the things you can do with Ballpark and ChatGPT:

  • Create and refine studies with screeners, survey questions and AI-moderated interviews.

  • Find the right panel audience, check recruitment costs and confirm an order when you’re ready.

  • Explore themes in participant feedback and ask follow-up questions to understand the detail.

  • Search past studies and compare findings across audiences, markets and projects.

  • Turn your research into clear summaries and insight reports to share with your team.

How it works

Connect your Ballpark account to ChatGPT to get started:

  1. Open Ballpark’s listing in ChatGPT using the Install Now button.

  2. Add Ballpark and follow the prompts to sign in to your Ballpark account.

  3. Start a conversation with Ballpark and describe what you want to learn, or name an existing study to explore.

  4. Review your study, refine it in conversation and ask Ballpark to help you find participants or analyse the results.

You choose your audience and review the cost before confirming an order. Recruitment only starts when you give the go-ahead.

Example prompts

Try asking: “Create a study to understand why customers abandon checkout, with a screener for people who shop online every week.” Once responses come in, follow up with: “What are the main reasons people gave for abandoning checkout?”

Recruit participants

  • “Suggest audiences for this study: UK online shoppers who buy groceries at least once a week.”

  • “How much would 100 participants from that audience cost?”

  • “Go ahead and place the order we just reviewed.”

Analyse your research

  • “What are the top three reasons people gave for abandoning checkout? Include quotes from their responses.”

  • “How do first-time customers and returning customers differ in their feedback?”

  • “Find our past studies on pricing and summarise the themes that keep coming up.”

Work with your other tools

Connect your other tools to ChatGPT alongside Ballpark to take your findings further. Available actions depend on the tools you have connected and the access you’ve granted.

  • “Summarise the onboarding study and turn the key findings into a Miro board for our team review.”

  • “Write up the findings from this study as a research report in our Notion research hub.”

  • “Create Linear tickets for the usability issues in this study, ranked by how many participants encountered each one.”
